Folk Pageant Given at PHS as Christmas Benefit Item Info
A Folk Pageant, staged by three national groups from Plainfield and vicinity, was presented last Friday evening in the PHS auditorium under the general chairmanship of Ivan Baran of South Plainfield, assisted by Peter Lissiuk, chairman of the Ukrainian participants. Salvador Diana served as master of ceremonies, introducing Mrs. Jessie N. Rogers, representative of the Cameron Pipe Band of Montclair of the Scottish Social Group of New Jersey; Miss Angelina Iannotta, representing the Italian-American Junior League of Plainfield, and Miss Sally Bilowski, leader of the Ukrainian group.
