- In a quiet little agricultural settlement in New Market called Nova Ukraina lives a man who is a veteran of three wars including the present one and a specialist in guerilla fighting. Kalenik Lissiuk, 54, is a U. S. citizen who has been living in New Market since 1931. Like his neighbors in the colony, he was born in the Russian Ukraine, and has seen some of the most desperate warfare of the 20th century.
