Contemplating Mykhailiv

Join fellow art lovers for a special evening of scholarly and musical reflections on the art of one of the most intriguing Ukrainian artists of the 20th century.

The program will include an informal talk by Myroslava Mudrak, Professor Emeritus of Art History at the Ohio State University on "Yukhym Mykhailiv: A Case of Ukrainian Symbolist Painting" and a special appearance by world-renowned bandurist Julian Kytasty, who will perform improvised music inspired by Mykhailiv's works.

Talk and performance begins at 7pm at the UHEC Library Gallery off of the rotunda of the UOC of USA Consistory Building, 135 Davidson Avenue in Somerset, NJ. Gallery doors open at 6pm. $20 includes the program, gallery admission, and reception.
