Scratch Art Ancient Ukrainian Designs & Show and Tell of Wooden Pysanky by Valentyna Tretiak Workshop
In this workshop, young artists will create a scratch art piece using ancient Ukrainian designs. Students will learn about ancient Ukrainian symbolism and the carved wooden artwork of Valentyna Tretiak.
The workshop will be presented by Julia Bogovich, granddaughter of Valentyna Tretiak.
This is a VIRTUAL workshop. The workshop will be live, interactive and will not be recorded.
Suitable for grade school aged children.
You must provide your own supplies for this workshop.
Supplies List:
- Basic paper plate without any coating
- Paint Brush
- Oil pastels
- Black or dark colored acrylic paint
- Toothpicks and/or paper clip
- Hairdryer
