Crafts for Kids@UHEC: Sunflower Suncatcher Workshop (Virtual)
The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. Sunflowers are a visible part of Ukrainian culture, representing the country’s spirit and identity. They have become an important symbol in Ukraine, appearing on many symbols such as flags, coins, stamps, and postcards.
In this workshop, young artists will make their own sun-catcher paint and use it to paint a sunflower sun-catcher.
Suitable for grade school aged children. Seating is limited to 25 participants.

You must provide your own supplies for this workshop.
Supplies List:
-School (white) glue
-McCormick (or other brand) Food Coloring
-Black Sharpie (preferably thick)
-Thin Paintbrushes
-cups or plate (to mix glue and food coloring)
-Water
-Paper Towels
-Tape
-Plastic/Acrylic Glass from a frame (can be a Dollar Tree Frame)
(Can be any size; outline provided will fit an 8x10 frame. If you purchase a smaller frame, please reduce the size of the image when printing)
