Stamp Carving Using Linocut Techniques: Ukrainian Style! (Folk Arts@UHEC Virtual)
Carve erasers and carving material using linocut techniques to make rubber stamps! In this virtual class, learn how to create these stamps using traditional Ukrainian designs. Lecture and demonstration will be provided, as well as time to “carve along with the instructor.” Ask questions live!
Ideas for using your carved stamps will also be discussed.

Instructor Else Tennessen is a member of St Job of Pochaiv Orthodox Church in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She is an engineer and self-taught artist and has been carving stamps since 1994.
