Crafts for Kids with the UHEC: Ukrainian Easter Eggs and Legends (Virtual)
While creating a krashanka or krapanka during this workshop, participants will learn about the different kinds of Ukrainian Easter eggs and legends and traditions of the Easter, or Pascha.
You must provide your own supplies for this workshop.
Suitable for grade school aged children. Seating is limited to 25 participants.

Supplies list:
For Krashanky: hard-boiled eggs, pre-washed in vinegar bath, pre-mixed edible food dyes. For variations, small leaves, flower petals, ferns, or other foliage; nylon stocking or cheesecloth, rubber band or twine.
For Krapanky: hard-boiled eggs, pre-washed in vinegar bath, pre-mixed edible food dyes, beeswax candle to "drop" dots and design on to egg (required adult supervision), white crayon.
This workshop is FREE, but registration is required. The day before the event, you will get a personalized link to access the workshop.
