Crafts for Kids with the UHEC: Printmaking - ONLINE
Printmaking is the process of creating artworks by printing, normally on paper, but also on fabric, wood, metal, and other surfaces. Ukrainian artists used several different methods of printmaking, including woodcuts, etchings, linocuts, and lithographs. Craft inspired by the series "Ukraine 1933: A Cookbook" by Mykola Bondarenko.
In this workshop, young artists will use inspiration from nature to create prints on paper. This workshop will show two methods of printmaking for both grade school (Styrofoam Printmaking) and middle/high school (Printmaking with Nature).
You must provide your own supplies as listed below and in the packet.
Suitable for grade school aged children (and children of all ages).
Taught by Oksana Pasakas, UHEC Education Programs Coordinator.
This event will take place ONLINE, but registration is required.
