Crafts for Kids with the UHEC: Reverse Glass Painting - ONLINE

Registration is closed for this event
Learn about reverse glass painting and then apply this technique and create their own guardian angel painting on glass.

Reverse glass painting is an art form that consists of paint being applied to the back of glass and then viewed by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. This form of painting has been used for centuries throughout the world, including Ukraine. Many Ukrainian artists used this technique when painting scenes of their villages, landscapes, people in folk costumes, and in iconography in the Ukrainian Orthodox or Ukrainian Catholic traditions.

Suitable for grade school aged children. Seating is limited to 12 participants.

Taught by Oksana Pasakas, UHEC Education Programs Coordinator.

You must purchase your own supplies for this workshop.

This event is FREE and will take place ONLINE via GoToMeeting®, but registration is required.
