Young artists will use inspiration from nature to create prints on paper. This workshop will show two methods of printmaking for both grade school (Styrofoam Printmaking) and middle/high school (Printmaking with Nature).
Join Maria Rypan for this workshop where she will show you how motifs are created by placement of colored beads as you are netting. Thanks to the marvels of cameras and Zoom, you will be able to see close ups of how Maria strings beads and passes them through a common bead to create a net and motifs.

See how seed beads create incredible patterns and motifs in loomwoven gerdany, and netted sylianky. Understand why and how the distinctive adornments styles were worn.
