'Where the Lark Sings' program

Description

Program from a performance (presumably in German DP camps) of a Ukrainian translation of the Franz Lehár operetta, the eighth work performed by the "Ensemble of Ukrainian Actors" (V. Blavats'kyi, director) in their 1945-46 season. The remainder of the season included other translations ("The Ghost Train" by Ridley and two farces by Arnold and Bach) and works by Ukrainian authors.
